How Bequesta Came to Be
Bequesta was founded in Bangkok in 2019 by a small group of practitioners who kept encountering the same situation: families in distress because no one knew where the documents were. Not because there weren't any — but because no one had ever sat down to organise them properly, or to write down what mattered and why.
The name combines the Latin root of bequest — the act of leaving something to those who follow — with a softer, more personal register. We are not an estate-planning firm. We are not lawyers. We are organisers, facilitators, and record-keepers who believe that having things in order is one of the most considerate things a person can do for their family.
From our office on Silom Road, we work with individuals, couples, and multi-generational families. Some come with a single folder of papers and no idea how to begin. Others have everything scattered across multiple institutions, accounts, and filing systems in two or three countries. We meet each person where they are.
Our approach is always educational, never prescriptive. We do not give legal advice, financial guidance, or any instruction that requires a professional licence. Where those things are needed, we help you identify the right people to contact. Our role is to ensure that by the time you leave a Bequesta session, you — and those close to you — know exactly what you have and where to find it.
Our Mission
To make the process of organising personal documents and recording personal wishes as straightforward and unhurried as possible — so families spend less time searching and more time together.
Our Approach
Every session starts with listening. We follow a structured checklist methodology but adapt it to each person's circumstances, pace, and priorities. No two sessions are identical.
Our Promise
We never retain, share, or use your information for any purpose beyond the session itself. Your records are yours. We are here to help you create and maintain them — nothing more.

How We Work
Our Standards and Protocols
Strict Confidentiality
All session content is confidential. We do not retain client records beyond the completion of the session, and we never share information with third parties without explicit written instruction from the client.
Structured Checklist Methodology
Every engagement follows a tested checklist framework covering over 60 document and record categories. The checklists are reviewed and updated periodically to reflect changes in common document types and storage practices.
No Advisory Role
Bequesta facilitators do not draft legal documents, give financial advice, or act in any advisory capacity that requires a professional licence. Where such input is needed, we identify and recommend the appropriate professional.
Data Privacy Compliance
We operate in accordance with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). All personal data collected during sessions is processed only for the purposes stated at the outset, with clear consent obtained beforehand.
Ongoing Facilitator Development
Our team participates in regular peer review and continuing professional development focused on facilitation skills, document management practices, and family communication approaches.
Plain-Language Outputs
Every session produces a clear, readable written record in plain English (or Thai on request) that a family member with no specialist knowledge can understand and act upon without further interpretation.
Estate Records Organisation in Bangkok — A Different Kind of Service
Most families in Bangkok accumulate decades of documents across multiple institutions: property registrations, bank accounts, insurance policies, pension records, share certificates, digital accounts, and personal papers. The challenge is rarely a lack of documentation — it is the absence of a single, clear map that tells the people who matter where to look and what to do.
Bequesta provides that map. Through structured sessions, we help clients catalogue what they have, note where everything is held, and articulate their wishes in plain language that their families can understand without specialist knowledge. The result is not a legal document — it is a considered, well-organised record that sits alongside whatever formal instruments a client's advisers may have in place.
Our work supports clients at different stages of life. Some come to us following a family loss, wanting to ensure the same disorganised situation does not repeat itself. Others come at a time of transition — selling a property, moving abroad, or simply reaching a point where they want to feel settled about the state of their affairs. Many come because a conversation with their spouse or children made them realise that no one else knows where to begin.
Whatever the starting point, the destination is the same: clarity, order, and the quiet reassurance that comes from knowing everything is where it should be.
